Procedure

Ultrasonic Sensor

Ultrasonic sensor emits sound waves at a frequency too high for humans to hear. They then wait for the sound to be reflected back, calculating distance based on the time required. Transmitter sends a sound wave and receiver receives the reflected sound wave.

Water Flow Sensor

Water Flow sensor is basically used to take a note of how much water has been transferred from one area to the other. Water flow sensor consists of a plastic valve body, a water rotor and a hall-effect sensor. When water flows through the rotor, the rotor start rolling after feeling the pressure.

DHT 11 (Temperature and Humidity) Sensor

The humidity sensing component of the DHT11 is a moisture holding substrate with the electrodes applied to the surface. … The DHT11 converts the resistance measurement to relative humidity on a chip mounted to the back of the unit and transmits the humidity and temperature readings directly to the Raspberry Pi.
